ANSR Foundation has announced the launch of Prarambh, a transformative learning center aimed at bridging the gap between education and employment for underserved youth in Bengaluru on July 8.

Meaning “a new beginning,” Prarambh is designed to empower recent engineering graduates and final-year students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds by equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in high-growth sectors.

“The world is turning to India for the technology talent that will shape the future. With Prarambh, we’re taking a step toward ensuring that opportunity isn’t reserved for the privileged ones. By democratizing access to learning and careers, we’re unlocking the full breadth of India’s potential — talent that deserves to be seen, nurtured, and empowered,” said Lalit Ahuja, Founder and CEO of ANSR.

In collaboration with Embassy REIT, a leader in commercial real estate, and a tech-enabled team of educators focused on career readiness, Prarambh delivers structured, industry-aligned training. The first two batches comprise 30 students each and focus on preparing candidates for roles such as Associate System Engineer and IT Support.

“Several reports have highlighted the underemployment of Indian engineering graduates, especially those from underserved backgrounds. With Prarambh, our aim is to foster the journey of these talented young professionals — individuals who are hardworking, ambitious, and eager to succeed. Prarambh equips them with the practical, relevant skills they need to excel in today’s workforce,” said Caroline Fernandez, Managing Director, ANSR Foundation.

The program offers more than just technical training. It includes modules on soft skills, aptitude building, and interview readiness, ensuring participants are truly job-market ready. Selection is merit- and need-based, ensuring that only the most motivated and high-potential students benefit from this opportunity.
