FICCI Publishing Awards given away

The annual publishing awards by FICCI, one of the apex business chambers in the country, were given away on January 9 at a special event coinciding with Delhi World Book Fair. In English language, the children’s book of the year award (below 10 years) went to author Ranjit Lal’s Rumble in the Jungle published by Scholastic India and in the above 10 year category to Best Friends Forever by Arti Sonthalia.

In the children’s category in Hindi, Mujhe Samajh Nahi Aya ! by Mini Shrinivasan/ Shubham lakhera and published by Tulika Publishers won the award.

Sera Learns To Fly by Vinitha and published by Katha (under 10 year category) and How I got my Belly Button by Anju Kish and published by Om Book International (Above 10 years) bagged jury award in children’s category. In the same category in Hindi Siyar Aur Mor by Prabhat  and published Eklavya won the honor.

The Future ready Organization: How Dynamic Capability management is Reshaping the Modern Workplace  by Gyan Nagpal and published  by  HarperCollins publishers India Pvt. Ltd won the business book of the year award. The Job Crisis in India penned by Raghavan jagganathan and published by Pan Macmillan India was chosen under Business Economics.

Where Will Man Take us? By Atul Jalan  and published by Penguin Random House India was the Business Self Help book of the year .
