Anand Kishore, Chairman, BSEB, said: “For the second consecutive year, we have become the first state examination to release the results on time and that too, three days earlier, as compared to the last year. I would like to extend heartiest wishes to the top rank holders as well as those who qualified the examinations. The results were released on time due to the extensive use of technology. In the wake of ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we leveraged digital media to expedite the process.  The verification and the interview of the top five rankers were conducted via Whatsapp video call on mobile,” he added.

The Board had also developed new software for result processing with a processing speed of 16 times more than the earlier software. This one-of-a-kind software was also used for the first time in the country that enabled the results to be edited.

A total of 12,04,834 students appeared in the Intermediate Annual Examination in this year out of which 6,56,301 boys and 5,48,533 were girls. Furthermore, a total of 4,43,284 students have passed in the first class, 4,69,439 students in the second class and 56,115 students in the third class.
