Grand Authors’ Meet Celebrates 75 Years of New Saraswati House India Publishing Excellence

Marking a glorious milestone in its educational publishing journey, New Saraswati House India hosted a prestigious Authors’ Meet on 2nd May, celebrating its 75th anniversary with a special felicitation ceremony to honour the authors who have shaped its legacy.

Established in 1950, New Saraswati House India has played a pivotal role in nurturing content that have defined generations of readers. The 75th Anniversary Authors’ Meet was a tribute to the educators, storytellers, poets, and scholars who have enriched its publishing journey.

The event include:

  • Keynote addresses and reflections from award-winning writers and literary thought leaders
  • Felicitation of eminent authors who have made outstanding contributions to literature and to the publishing house’s legacy
  • A special commemorative video, showcasing iconic works and behind-the-scenes stories from the archives

“Seventy-five years in educational publishing is more than a milestone — it’s a testament to purpose, perseverance, and partnership. At the heart of our journey are the authors who transformed ideas into knowledge and knowledge into impact. Today, we celebrate not only our history, but the incredible people who have helped us build it, one page at a time,” said  Himanshu Gupta, Managing Director of the S Chand Group.

New Saraswati House is renowned for crafting student-friendly and pedagogically sound textbooks, digital resources, assessment tools, teacher training material, and much more.
