Honda India Foundation bags its 5th ‘BHAMASHAH AWARD’ for Education in Rajasthan

Recognizing its support towards enhancing the educational landscape in the state of Rajasthan, Honda India Foundation has been awarded “BHAMASHAH AWARD’’ for the 5th consecutive year. The ‘Bhamashah Award’ is a symbol of excellence and innovation with the 29th Bhamashah Samman organized on 28th June 2025 at Maheshwari Public School, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan.  The education department praised Honda India Foundation for being actively engaged in various educational initiatives aimed at empowering students and creating a brighter future for the youth in the rural areas of Rajasthan.

The felicitation ceremony was conducted in the august presence of Bhajan Lal Sharma, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, among other eminent guests from Education department of Rajasthan along with Mr. Rajeev Taneja, Operating Officer – Honda India Foundation and Mr. Piyush Mittal, Vice President- CA, Honda Cars India Ltd.

 

Honda’s Major Projects Undertaken for Promotion of Education in Rajasthan -FY 2024-25:

 Infrastructure Development: Invested in Setting up Digital lab for the youth of Rajasthan

  • Educational Resources: Provided educational materials and learning aids to facilitate a more encouraging learning environment
  • Teacher Training: Organized training programs for teachers, equipping them with innovative teaching methods and strategies
  • Extracurricular Activities: Initiated various extracurricular programs, including sports, music, arts, and cultural events, to foster holistic development among students
  • Remedial Education: focuses on reducing dropout rates and improving academic performance among students from disadvantaged communities
