IMT Ghaziabad commences its two-year full-time PGDM program for the batch 2024-26 and the FPM program for the batch 2024. The registration process for students took place on 19th June 2024 and 20th June 2024. The formal inaugural and orientation ceremony commenced with a warm welcome from Dr. Vishal Talwar, Director of IMT Ghaziabad. Dr. Talwar offered the students an overview of the ethos, heritage, and values that distinguish IMT Ghaziabad as a top-ranked institute in the country. The flagship programs, including PGDM, PGDM Financial Management, PGDM Marketing, PGDM Dual Country Program (DCP), and PGDM Banking and Financial Services (BFS), were officially commenced on this day.

Additionally, the ceremony featured distinguished alumni such as Ms. Nidhi Sethi, Director of Strategy & Transformation at NatWest Group, and Ms. Aditi Mishra, CEO at Lodestar UM and an alumna of IMT Ghaziabad. - Gender Diversity: The current batch boasts a female representation of 36%, the highest in the recent records of IMT Ghaziabad. Over the past four years, the percentage of female students has more than doubled, rising from 16% to 36%, the highest proportion recorded at IMT Ghaziabad in recent years. This upward trend reflects the institute’s dedicated efforts to create an equitable and supportive academic environment for all students, ensuring a balanced and diverse learning experience.
- Geographical Distribution: 84% of the students come from outside the state, highlighting the growing geographical diversity at IMT Ghaziabad. This trend reflects the institute’s increasing appeal to students from various regions. IMT Ghaziabad has students from 27 states across India, representing diverse regional backgrounds and cultural traditions.
- Work Experience: 40% of the individuals with more than 12 months of work experience are in the current batch, bringing valuable industry knowledge and expertise to the group. The remaining 60% are fresh graduates, contributing a fresh perspective and new ideas. This balance creates a dynamic and diverse cohort, combining the strengths of experienced professionals with the enthusiasm of new graduates.

IMT Ghaziabad conducted MILAAP 2024, a three-day pre-orientation event, to warmly welcome incoming PGDM students to our esteemed institution. MILAAP is an annual event designed to help new students familiarise themselves with the campus, their peers, and the faculty, instilling a sense of belonging and laying the foundation for a successful academic journey.
This year’s MILAAP offered a variety of activities to engage and educate the students. The event schedule included the following key activities:
