‘Dare To Do More’, a flagship campus challenge offered byPepsiCo India, a major food and beverage businesses MNC in India has been won by Bijayeta Pati, a student from IMT Ghaziabad.  As a country winner, she will now compete with winners from other regions to square off in Dubai for the sector finale in January 2020. The winners of the sector finale will travel to New York City to showcase their idea to the global leadership team, along with an international job offer.

Bijayeta Pati reacted, “Just to be a part of this challenge was thrilling for me and to win it, is one of my biggest goals achieved. Sustainability as a topic has always been very close to me and when I first attempted to bring my idea to life, I realized that it was very R&D intensive. For the last few months, I have been doing field work, creating prototypes of my idea which I could present to the judges. And now that I’ve become the country winner, I’m extremely excited to compete with the other country winners and work with the best at PepsiCo”.

The challenge is about sharing most innovative and creative plans and gets a chance to positively impact PepsiCo’s future programmes, action areas on sustainability. It  provides young talent a platform to share their brightest ideas across three categories: Water, Agriculture and Waste Management – all with an aim to make a difference in the company’s sustainability practices. The India challenge witnessed an overwhelming response from 11,874 students from top B-schools.

The First Runners Up at the AMENA Sector Finale will receive an opportunity to join PepsiCo along with an Ivy League Certified Courses, mentorship from PepsiCo Senior Leaders and an exciting trip to present to Sector Leadership.

The Second Runners Up at the AMENA Sector Finale will receive an opportunity to present their idea to the Senior Leadership at the Country Headquarters and a day of experiential learning with Country’s finest leadership team.

Pavitra Singh, CHRO, PepsiCo India said, “I am sure the winning team will love the experience of working with cross functional teams across R&D, Marketing, Sales, public Affairs in bringing their idea to life. This is a unique onboarding experience for the first-time students entering an organization. We wish them all the very best and am sure they will do India proud as they go into the Sector Finale, competing with the winners from Thailand and Egypt.”
