Jaipuria School of Business, Ghaziabad that offers post graduate management programmes has diversified into teacher training and announced launch of a teacher education academy called Saamarthya Teachers Training Academy of Research (STTAR). The new vertical envisaged to become a full-fledged institute for offering mainly customized training at institutional level will be inaugurated on July 15 by the deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dinesh Sharma in full view of education officials of the state according to Vinod Malhotra, Chairman, Academic Council of the new entity.
STTAR will offer over 12 modules ranging across developmental psychology, personal effectiveness, leadership, happiness, assessment strategies, communication skills, ICT and design thinking. Each module has been thoroughly researched and planned to bring about a gradual shift in the mindset and competency of teachers to empower them in imparting quality education. The academy adopts an eclectic approach and draws upon the best practices from across the globe. STTAR also takes up training need analysis of teachers and the institution.
The board of STTAR in addition to Shishir Jaipuria – Chairman, Seth Anandram Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions, comprises of Anil Swaroop, former secretary HRD, Abha Adams, Ken Joshua, and Saritha Mathur.
