
Krea University, Andhra Pradesh in India have signed an MoU with Macquarie University, a reputed Australian university to offer a dual degree program. The partnership will follow a 2+2 model, allowing students to pursue two years of study at Krea University, followed by two years at Macquarie University, culminating in a bachelor’s degree from both institutions.
The agreement was signed at an event held at the Consulate General in Bangalore in the presence of the MS. Hilary Mcgeachy, Consul General of Australia and Mr. Vik Singh, Trade and Investment Commissioner, South Asia. The dual degree program is set to commence in the upcoming academic year and is expected to attract students aspiring for a globally relevant and interdisciplinary education.
Under this innovative agreement reflecting the objectives of both institutions in cultivating academic excellence, innovation, and cross-cultural learning opportunities, students will commence their academic journey at Krea University in one of the following programs: Bachelor of Arts (Honours) majoring in History, Politics, and Social Studies or Bachelor of Science (Honours) majoring in Social Studies, History, and Politics. After completing two years at Krea, students will have the opportunity to transfer to Macquarie University and complete their degrees in either the Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Modern History, Politics, Sociology) or the Bachelor of Social Sciences (majoring in Climate, Environment and Society, Health, Wellbeing and Society, Work, Life and Technology).
The dual-degree program is designed to provide students with an unmatched global academic experience, equipping them with interdisciplinary knowledge, critical thinking skills, and cultural adaptability essential for addressing global challenges.
