Nottingham Trent University Celebrates Graduation of over 220 Indian Students

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is celebrating the graduation of Indian students during the 2025/26 academic year, with 221 students successfully completing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the University. The graduating cohort, comprising 110 undergraduate and 133 postgraduate students, marks another milestone for NTU’s Indian student community as graduates join a global alumni network of professionals, innovators and changemakers.

NTU has a growing network of Indian alumni making an impact in business, creative industries, law, and entrepreneurship. Graduates join a worldwide alumni community exceeding 250,000 members. Notable NTU Indian graduates include designer Priya Patel and travel blogger Mayur Sharma.

In the UK, notable graduates include Gaggan Sabherwal, a MA Television Journalism graduate and recipient of the India UK Achievers Honours, now working as a senior reporter for the BBC and Aufa Karnalkar, LLM International Trade and Commercial Law graduate thriving as an independent legal professional and academic tutor.

Among the 25/26 undergraduates, students graduated in Design, Creative and Performing Arts, Business & Management, Computing, and Allied Health Sciences, while Computing, Business & Management, and Engineering & Technology were the leading postgraduate disciplines. The cohort reflects the diverse academic interests of Indian students and NTU’s emphasis on combining academic learning with practical, industry-focused experiences.

Stephen Williams, Director, NTU Global, Nottingham Trent University, said, “We are incredibly proud of our Indian students as they celebrate this important milestone. Their talent, determination and commitment have enriched our university community and exemplified the global outlook that defines Nottingham Trent University. Graduation marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, and we have every confidence that our graduates will go on to make outstanding contributions to their professions, communities and society. We congratulate them on their achievements and look forward to following their future successes as valued members of the NTU alumni community.”
