Shiv Nadar University Delhi-NCR, welcomed three internationally acclaimed academics to guide the transformational journey of its School of Management & Entrepreneurship (SME).

Dr. Rangarajan ‘Raghu’ Sundaram, Dean of New York University’s (NYU) Stern School of Business, has joined SME’s Advisory Council. Dr. Rajiv Grover, holder of the Sales & Marketing Chair of Excellence at the University of Memphis, TN, United States, and former Dean of the University’s Fogelman College of Business & Economics, has joined the School as Honorary Distinguished Professor. Dr. Asish K. Bhattacharyya, former Head of School of Corporate Governance & Public Policy, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, and former Professor of IIM-Calcutta, as Distinguished Professor.

The School of Management & Entrepreneurship at Shiv Nadar University was established in 2014 as a progressive management school. It offers programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels, guided by faculty members drawn from top institutions in India and across the world. The School equips students with the knowledge and competencies to flourish in the new-age digital economy in an international context through opportunities of global exposure and hands-on learning on entrepreneurship.

Shikhar Malhotra, Pro-Chancellor of Shiv Nadar University Delhi-NCR, said: “There is an enormous opportunity for higher education institutions in India to exemplify what the future of management education should be like. Corporations today are integrating across global markets, becoming more globally-connected, and therefore, business education must become global in nature to truly prepare the future generations of business leaders and entrepreneurs. And, they need capabilities and qualifications that are globally-valued. Dr. Raghu Sundaram, Dr. Rajiv Grover, and Dr. Asish Bhattacharyya are distinguished academics with deep knowledge and experience in global management education, and whose directions will be pivotal for Shiv Nadar University to deliver on its vision of becoming an outstanding institution of global stature and impact.”
