After months of ideation, mentorship, prototyping and pitching, India’s young innovators are ready to take center stage as Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2026 heads into its Grand Finale on October 14 and 15, in New Delhi. The finalists represent the breadth of ideas emerging from across India as young people explore technology-led approaches to challenges in health, education, sport, sustainability, and everyday life.

The Top 20 teams will showcase technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges and compete for INR 2 crore in cumulative incubation grants designed to help the winning ideas move closer to real-world impact.

The finalists will present their solutions across four thematic tracks — AI Living for India, Health and Education, Environmental Sustainability, and Sport & Tech — before a jury comprising Samsung leadership and experts from academia, government, and industry.

In its fifth edition, Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2026 is bringing together young innovators from across India who are turning problems they see around them into technology-led solutions. More than half of the participants in the Top 20 come from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, with the finalists representing 18 cities across 12 states, underscoring how youth-led innovation is emerging from communities well beyond India’s traditional technology hubs.

The Grand Finale marks the culmination of a journey that has taken participants from identifying problems and applying design thinking to building prototypes, receiving expert mentorship and pitching their ideas at the national level. Four winning teams will receive INR 2 crore in cumulative incubation grants from Samsung to continue developing their solutions, with direct mentorship from IIT Delhi’s FITT.

The Grand Finale will bring the 2026 innovation journey to its next stage, as the Top 20 teams present their solutions and compete for incubation support to develop their ideas further.

Samsung continues to strengthen the innovation ecosystem around young people through multi-year partnerships with Startup India (DPIIT), MeitY Startup Hub, Atal Innovation Mission (NITI Aayog) and Manthan (Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India). These partnerships complement the program’s focus on providing young innovators with access to mentorship, technology, and support as they develop their ideas.

In a statement the company said: “Guided by its global CSR vision, “Together for Tomorrow! Enabling People,” Samsung is committed to empowering young people with the knowledge, skills and opportunities they need to become the problem-solvers and innovators of tomorrow.”
