Ponty Chadha Foundation, the CSR arm of Wave Group launched a new vertical “PCF Ability Connect” on the occasion of the 64th birth anniversary of Wave Group’s founder respected Sardar Ponty Chadha on. Oct 22

This new initiative is aimed to create sustainable employment opportunities for persons with disabilities (PwDs) by bridging the gap between skill sets and job market requirements. PCF’s Ability connect vertical is a volunteer driven program which will explore and map job roles for PwDs across multiple industries by establishing partnerships with companies and match their skills to job roles and develop individual profiles.

Dr Vandana Sharma, Chairperson, Ability Connect, MBCN, PCF said,” Our founder Sardar Shri Ponty Chadha Ji believed in his mission of giving back to the community. Building up to his legacy, we at MBCN and PCF are steadfast in providing every possible resource to uplift the underserved sections of our society. With the launch of our Ability Connect program I believe together; we can create a more inclusive and supportive community for persons with disabilities. The PCF invites everyone to participate in this initiative and contribute in any way they can.”

Likeminded volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in the program and contribute whatever skill/resource/opportunity one can provide to a person with disability to be financially independent and lead a life with dignity.
