In a joint CSR initiative, EduBridge, Sanofi, and Capgemini have launched the Digital Academy, a flagship program designed to make digital education more accessible and inclusive across India. The Digital Academy focuses on giving access to industry-relevant training, with a strong emphasis on empowering women and youth from marginalized backgrounds. By targeting high-growth sectors such as IT/ITES, BFSI, and FinTech, the program ensures learners gain future-ready skills that open doors to sustainable careers.
The program follows a dual-track approach: an employment-linked training model for 3,900 beneficiaries, offering over 200 hours of technical instruction, and an upskilling model for more than 3,000 youth through focused workshops and awareness sessions exceeding 10 hours each.
The 4,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility offers modern classrooms, computer labs, counseling zones, and collaborative spaces. Students can access a tech-enabled portal for tracking their learning journey, building resumes and accessing job opportunities. They also gain valuable industry exposure through mentoring by leaders from Sanofi and Capgemini. Upon successful completion, candidates receive certification from the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
The initiative aims to place at least 70% of its trainees in relevant job roles, supported by an additional three months of post-placement support. Designed as a transformative learning experience, the program aims to boost participants household income by approximately 50-100%.
Ashwin Yardi, CEO of Capgemini in India, said: “The Digital Academy goes beyond teaching technical skills, about it empowers youth with the confidence and opportunities they need to thrive in the digital economy.
