Support package worth AUD$5000 on offer for each Brand Ambassador

StudyAdelaide, an agency of the Government of South Australia, has announced the launch of the 2020 Brand Ambassador competition for students from India. In a first, this popular competition will be now be extended to students across four countries in South Asia.

Fifteen students from across India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal will have a chance to become brand ambassadors and win an exciting student support package including education and lifestyle experiences in  Adelaide.

The competition will offer the 15 winning candidates a support package valued AUD $5,000 (2.5 lacs) per students that includes airfares, living allowance and free access to key Adelaide festivals and events, allowing students to soak up the full educational and lifestyle experience of the city. The ambassadors will be encouraged to engage with friends, family and the community to showcase Adelaide’s advantages and what makes it one of the best Australian cities for international students, by sharing their story through posts, videos and blogs.

Speaking about the StudyAdelaide ambassador program for India, Karyn Kent, CEO, said, “We have seen excellent growth in the number of students choosing to study in Adelaide, in fact our growth in students enrolments this year is above the national average. Our ambassador program is specifically designed to recognise the high quality of these students, and to showcase the benefits of studying in Adelaide.”

The competition is open to students based in India (as well as Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh) who are looking to commence their studies at education institutions in Adelaide in 2020. The application process requires entrants to answer some basic essay questions, including what motivates them to study in Adelaide. The winners will be selected by a panel of judges with criteria including creativity, enthusiasm and passion to study in Adelaide.

Applications for Ambassador for Adelaide program closes on 31st December 2019. Interested students can apply at www.studyadelaide.com/southasia
