
Ahmedabad-based Delhi Public School – Bopal hosted a vibrant Parents’ Day celebration — Kalanjali 24-25 at Pandit Dindayal Auditorium on March 10, showcasing the talent of 1,200 young performers from Pre School to Grade 2. With the belief of “No Child Left Behind,” the event ensured 100% participation, fostering holistic development.
The celebration unfolded through three captivating themes:
Grade 1 presented Anubanadhanm:
Threads of Love, expressing the profound connections in human life. Their graceful performances highlighted the bond with nature, the role of parents and teachers, and the valour of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj through a powerful dance drama, Shaurya Gatha. The segment concluded with a grand finale, where the audience, united in emotion, lit up the venue with their mobile flashlights.
Jr. KG & Grade 2 brought alive Bharat:
Ek Virasat, celebrating India’s rich heritage. Their energetic performances showcased India’s global contributions like Yoga, ISRO’s Chandrayaan mission, and the nation’s scenic beauty. The grand finale, marked by tricolor waves and heartfelt patriotism, left the audience brimming with pride.
Sr. KG & Balvatika charmed the audience with Tarang:
A Musical Journey, featuring a fashion show reflecting Bollywood’s eras and a touching dance drama, God is Watching Us, reminding everyone about the importance of kindness and good deeds. The children also celebrated the spirit of friendship through a heart-warming performance.
