The National Alumni Meet (NAM) 2025 of Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon was held on Nov 30, 2025 at the beautiful Library Greens and attracted more than 800 participants, the largest and most successful celebration of MDI’s Alumni reunion & reconnection to date organised by ALCOM.

With the inspiring theme “Echoes of Legacy,” the evening celebrated MDI’s rich heritage, enduring alumni bonds, and its powerful impact across industries. The event also saw active participation by MDI Alumni Association and also launch of endowment initiatives – including Shashi Budhiraja Chair Professorship in Governance in the name of ex-Director of MDI Gurgaon Late Shashi Budhiraja, and a scholarship fund in the name of a PGDM alumni.

“The launch of the Shashi Budhiraja Chair Professorship in Governance and a new alumni scholarship fund marked important milestones in our journey of giving back. The energy, pride, and commitment displayed by our alumni, faculty (current and retired), staff, MDI Alumni Association and Alcom truly reflected the strength of the MDI Gurgaon community. Here’s to deeper engagement, stronger partnerships, and shaping the future—together,” wrote MDI.

The event consisted of a variety of activities including opportunities to network, experience different cultures, engage in meaningful conversations with others and reflect on what the institute hopes to see happen in the future. One of the shared experiences for attendees was sharing stories that illustrate their professional accomplishments and the significant influence MDI Gurgaon has had on their development as leaders and their enduring strong ties with one another.

Prof. Arvind Sahay, Director, MDI Gurgaon, expressed his appreciation, stating: “MDI Gurgaon considers its alumni as a true representation of the institution. The accomplishments of the graduates, coupled with their demonstrable commitment to leadership and integrity, have left an indelible imprint upon the Institute’s legacy. The success of NAM 2025 is a strong reminder of the enduring strength and warmth of the MDI Gurgaon Community; therefore, moving forward, we will strive to provide deeper, richer and more meaningful opportunities for engagement, support, and collaboration. We hope that alumni contribute in different ways increasingly to strengthen MDI Gurgaon to make it well prepared for the future.”

Prof. Nakul Gupta, Chairperson – PGDM (Business Analytics) and Chairperson Alumni added: “Seeing such a large and enthusiastic gathering on campus reflects the enduring bond our alumni and stakeholders share with MDI Gurgaon. In addition to celebrating our past, this reunion reaffirms our commitment to supporting, mentoring and inspiring each other as a unified organisation. As we create additional opportunities for our alumni to collaborate with one another, build upon their successes and continue influencing the course of the Institute.”
