Navneet Foundation holds hand-holding workshop for teachers in Mumbai

The revised class X syllabus introduced by the government of Maharashtra this year is a new experience for teachers as well. So, teacher orientation is needed. Taking an initiative to support teachers from Mumbai, Satara, Jalgaon, Pune, Kolhapur, Palghar and Nashik, Navneet Foundation recently organized  a training program in Mumbai to orient them on how to handle the new English textbook.

The Training Program focused on English as the 3rd Language subject and shared tips on training students to score more marks in this language. The master trainers invited by Navneet Foundation discussed the pattern of assessment and resolved all the queries of teachers related to English Language Question paper. They shared tips on how to improve skills in essay writing, poetry appreciation, grammar and comprehension.

This training program also provided guidance to the teachers for quality teaching. Teachers from various places of Maharashtra who participated in this program will later conduct the workshop at their respective locations.

Anil Gala, Director, Navneet Education said, “Vision of the program is to train teachers so that the students learn better. This training program will empower and motivate teachers to deliver their best in the classroom.  Navneet Foundation is strengthening the efforts of the education department of Maharashtra in capacity building of teachers.”
