KFTL having entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Space Applications Centre (SAC), ISRO Ahmedabad, for collaborative work towards STEM education, N M Desai SAC, ISRO in the presence of SAC delegation of six senior scientists inaugurated the Kalorex Future Tech Lab (KFTL) on March 17. Shri Desai interacted with the students & staff members and encouraged them to take full advantage of these facilities to develop their skills and pursue careers in science and technology. He also emphasised on the importance of teacher and student-centric approach towards education while harnessing technology to its fullest potential.
The collaboration aims to connect classroom learning with practical skills using advanced technologies for which SAC/ISRO will provide mentoring and guidance to KFTL. KFTL offers hands-on learning in four future tech areas: AI & Robotics, AR & VR, Aerospace & 5D learning & experience in sustainability and moral values. These labs promote curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, equipping students with future-ready skills and preparing them for the VUCA world. KFTL integrates academics with practical innovation, preparing students for careers in science, technology, and sustainable development.
The AI & Robotics Lab focuses on coding, programming, and intelligent system development. The AR & VR Lab enhances learning with 3D simulations for better subject visualization. The Yali Lab provides a 5DX sensory experience, helping students understand sustainability and social issues. The Aerospace Lab inspires students to explore space technology by designing Mars rovers, Rockets, and Quadrapods. KFTL combines academics with practical innovation, preparing students for future careers.
The inauguration of KFTL heralds a new approach towards combining academic learning with practical innovation, thus helping students to become future tech leaders. The programs offered by KFTL are available in both Online and Offline modes, which will provide enough flexibility to interested students.
