Located in the bustling area of Juhu (Mumbai), Pawan Hans Aerodrome provides a perfect setting for an exciting educational adventure filled with learning and discovery as was demonstrated by an excursion of a group of children undertaken by Mumbai-based Safari Kid, an international chain of preschools and after school programs.

By immersing children in the dynamic environment of the Aerodrome, Safari Kid’s endeavor was to instill a sense of curiosity and appreciation for the wonders of flight. The aim was to provide kids with a unique opportunity to explore the world of aviation and engage in thrilling adventures high above the ground, all in a safe and educational environment.

Through hands-on exploration and guided learning, children not only engage with the outdoors but also gain insight into the principles of aircraft technology and the importance of aviation in global connectivity. This holistic approach nurtures their cognitive abilities while fostering a sense of wonder and respect for the world around them.

The day kicked off with an interactive tour of the aerodrome, giving the children a close-up look at helicopters and their workings. Guided by experienced instructors, the young adventurers were introduced to the fascinating world of aircraft technology. This outing also highlighted the importance of outdoor experiences in children’s development, pros and develop essential life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking from an early age.
